High Level Business Design
High level business design is utilized to determine needs that would improve marketability, enhance productivity, identify existing shortcomings, solve existing problems, etc. Technology, process, or new business offerings could be incorporated. Any or all of the following tasks could be included:
- Determine Business Needs
- Research Marketability
- Draft Business Plan
- Review with Appropriate Business Sponsors
- Modify Business Plan
- Draft Project Implementation Plan
Project Planning
Project planning is used to establish a foundation for the development process. Overseeing the implementation would insure that the project was implemented in a timely and cost effective manner and satisfy the original goals. This would encompass the following:
- Project Analysis
- Facilitate Meetings between Various Channels
- Determine Business Requirements
- Project Documentation
- Implementation Recommendations/Alternatives
- Timelines & Costs
- Monitor Progress & Costs
- Verify Satisfaction of Business Needs
- Update Documentation
- System Testing (if applicable)
